Brushed iMac? Maybe, but not this one.
Here is one of the many reasons this rumor from TechDigest is flawed. When was the last time Apple released an iMac that couldn’t be tilted? If you count the flip bar on the bottom of the original fruity iMacs, NEVER! This design is so phony I don’t even know where to begin. Jonathan Ives would have to have a stroke before he ever let an iMac design go through the door without the ability to tilt. It’s such a basic yet fundamental requirement of screen viewing. To presume that you have the angle perfect for everyone, right out of the box is to presume wrong.
On the flip side, lets all praise photoshop and it’s wondrous abilities to help fuel bogus rumors like this. All this rumor needs is an authoritative Engadget posting from Ryan Block.
